The JPS VIA Push-to-Talk over cellular application is seamlessly integrated with ACU radio interoperability gateways, representing a significant advancement in communication capabilities.

JPS Interoperability Solutions, Inc., renowned as an industry leader in communications interoperability, has integrated SLA’s Enterprise Secure Chat (ESChat) with its ACU technology to create JPS VIA. This secure service establishes voice and data connections between mobile devices and JPS gateways, offering a host of benefits for gateway operators, interoperability system members, and smart device users alike.

  • Enhanced features allow the creation of ancillary smartphone talk groups to alleviate radio channel congestion during critical incidents.
  • Improved communication coverage extends to areas with poor radio signals, such as parking garages or remote locations where radio reception is compromised.

JPS VIA operates as a hosted service utilizing commercial 3G/4G/LTE/WiFi networks. It provides ESChat’s comprehensive feature set and will soon introduce additional capabilities that enhance integration between the JPS VIA application and ACU gateways, delivering heightened awareness and control to all users within the integrated system.

Kindly note: Continuous GPS usage in the background may significantly reduce battery life. It is advisable to utilize the default LMS setting unless connected to a power source.
